Don't be a disgrace to fame

Yes he was an egoist
Arrogant of his fame
Loved being so narcissistic
Loved hearing his name

He forgot that time
When he was in pain
Broke without a dime
And when life had him slain

Success had blurred his vision
Made him weak
Forgetting how painfully he had risen
Those memories seamed bleak

Destiny was watching all
Destiny wasn’t going to sit tight
Waiting for him to take the first fall
Then he would witness destiny’s might

Very few get to the top
The top is coveted and has to be respected
Once there, you can’t let the chance drop
Or else life will leave you yet again dejected

So here he was, a disgrace
Vain, pompous and evil
Slackening, lowering his pace
Sliding down the hill

Don’t be such a disgrace ever
Learn to respect your power
Be humble yet smart and clever

In murky shores learn to bloom like a lotus flower
