Love is the healer

Careless parents and all friends having a grey edge
All innocence ripped apart, childhood standing at devil’s ledge

Drifting away from the middle of the road to the wrong side
Goodness being eroded, character going through a downslide

Didn’t ask for life, didn’t care for death ripping the soul apart
Enjoying all the riches of life yet all the tongue feels is tart

Cut through life’s fierce woes to make it to the top
Went all out for cash thinking that the bleeding heart’s pain it would stop

Love was all the heart longed for but it always got wretched glances of sympathy
That look of pity the heart hates, and with that for this world there’s only apathy

No one there to share the sorrow but riches making sycophants throng aplenty
Drifting rapidly downstream the current of life wondering how normalcy would be

All the heart longs for is someone to console when downtrodden
But that is too much to ask for and life shall always remain sullen

Charred souls, wounded bodies, ripped hearts, that’s all it ends with
Let’s help the kids grow into wonderful beings and let them not in their pain for life writhe

All the heart of wounded warriors always wants is love
Show some love, save these souls, handle them with a kid glove

Sympathy is a misery; love for the heart is a luxury
Give a part of love and save all souls from this daylight skulduggery
